PRESENTATIONS 2022

We are so happy to be able to hold the presentations again for Youth and Adult riders.  As in previous years these will be separate.  We have finalised the venue and date for the Youth Presentation and as soon as we have finalised the adults, we will post it on here.

Youth Presentation – Saturday 3rd December, 3pm at Studley Cricket Club.  Please let us know if you will be joining us. 

Adult Presentation – Saturday 4th February 7:00pm for 7:30pm meal.  The St George Hotel, Harrogate.  Sit down meal, presentation and live music all in the fabulous surroundings of the hotel.

Saturday 30th July – Youth Superstar Trial at Rock N Hop.  This will be for B, C, D and E classes only and we are so pleased to announce that we are working in conjunction with OSET.  It will be open to all makes of bikes but results for all OSET riders will be used to go towards the OSET Cup Results. Sunday 31st July – BRITISH GP ROUND at Rock N Hop.  Permit No. ACU63575.  Camping available via John at Rock N Hop and we have great things planned……. Entries now open on ACU Website.

Saturday 6th August – Easy Trial – Galloway Pastures, Greenhow.  HG3 5JH. Aimed at Beginners and those wanting an easy ride out. Open to all classes

Saturday 27th August – Youth Practice Weekend – at Fir Tree Farm, Grewelthorpe. Permit No. ACU63975 HG4 3DL This is open to all Ripon Motor Club Youth Members.  You are welcome to camp for the weekend but please be respectful of the land and ensure all rubbish is taken home with you.  Entry is now live on the ACU Website – CLICK HERE TO ENTER.   

Sunday 9th October – Derek Lickers West Yorkshire Championship Trial at Fir Tree Farm, Grewelthorpe.  HG4 3DL  Permit No. ACU64309.  This is restricted to members of the Yorkshire Centre, therefore must hold a current membership with one of the clubs within the Yorkshire Centre.  The Derek Lickers Trophy will go to the Best Performance by an Adult on the Championship Course.  Cash Prizes for 1st place in each class (subject to an entry of at least 3 per class).  Trophies will be held for one year. Sunday 20th November – Easy Trial – VENUE CHANGE Clocken Syke Farm, Dacre. Thank you so much for all your support in 2021, it has been a pleasure to put the events on for you all and we have enjoyed seeing you all at our events.  We hope 2022 will be as successful but if there is anything you would like to see us do differently – please do get in touch.

A huge thank you to all the landowners for letting us use their land as without them we wouldn’t be able to hold any of the trials.

A final thank you to all the observers, for standing out in all weathers to ensure the trials can go ahead.  You are all amazing and we really do appreciate you being there come rain or shine.

Most of our Summer Series are Saturday Night Trials, all other trials tend to be held on Sundays and will start at either 10:30am or 11:00am.  Most of our trials are restricted to club but we do have some open trials throughout the year along with Centre Restricted trials. 

We are very excited to be hosting the British Round this summer and will keep you posted with full details of what we have planned.

Although we are so happy to be running our Summer Series, unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic and restrictions that COVID brings, we won’t be able to run it as a championship as there is no guarantee that everyone can get entries to every trial in the series.  However, we do look forward to seeing you all there and enjoying the trials that everyone is working so hard to put on.  Take care and stay safe.

Open to everyone who holds a valid ACU Licence.

Adult and Youth A & B only.  This is not a beginners/easy trial!  3 Routes – Clubman, Green & Hard.  3 laps of 15 sections.

Entry fee includes a meal ticket – further details will follow.

Sunday 21st November – Beginners/Easy Trial at Galloway Pastures.

This is open to all Adult and Youth Riders that hold a valid ACU Licence and is a very easy trial aimed at beginners and those who need to build their confidence.

There will be 2 routes, Very Easy and Easy.  The Very Easy course will be suitable for those who are new to trialling or for those youth riders that have ridden the Small Wheels Easy routes.

 Sunday 31st October 2021 – Fun Halloween Trial with optional fancy dress – ACU PERMIT 61896

This is open to all Adult and Youth Riders that hold a valid ACU Licence.

There will be 3 routes, Hard, Green and Easy.  The Easy course will be the same level as a Saturday Night trial but the Green and Hard will be a littler trickier to give you a treat!

Points will be deducted off your final score for those in fancy dress.  There will be prizes in each class for the best costume.  There will be fun and games, either at sections or around the course.
